Mine Operative

At British Gypsum we''re looking for a Mine Operative to work at our gypsum mine in Fauld, near Burton on Trent helping to meet our production targets and ensure we deliver for our customers on time, every time.This Mine Operative role will be a part of the production team. You''ll be working autonomously as part of a wider team, operating machinery in our oldest mine to ensure we futureproof production capabilities. We have been mining gypsum for more than 150 years, a heritage we''re very proud of.This is a full time role working Mon to Friday on rotating shifts (days and nights). You''ll initially work a few months of days (6am until 3pm) until fully trained.
