Mill Operative

Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Production Operative to work in Wrexham

Job Details:

• Pay: £30,000 per annum rising to £33,992.27 after probation 
• Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off (4 Days, 4 off, 4 Nights) 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Free parking on site, training/development opportunities, salary review after passing probation, standard pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role: As a Production Operative, your main duties will include operating heavy industrial machinery, mixing and weighing ingredients, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the production process. You will be expected to follow detailed work instructions, prevent cross-contamination, maintain accurate production records, and manage finished product bins and feed samples as required.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with heavy industrial machinery within the manufacturing industry
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Previous experience working shift patterns, including nights
• Must possess a great attitude to work

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Mill
