We are seeking to add to our brilliant team.Purpose of the Job:The Military Medical Examiner is responsible for the safe, effective, and timely delivery of medical assessments for prospective Royal Marines recruits on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The purpose of these assessments is to determine whether candidates are medically suitable to be invited to commence Royal Marines training.Job Overview:The role begins with a comprehensive review of the candidate''s Pre-Joining Health Questionnaire (PHCQ/PHCR) and optician''s report. This initial assessment identifies any current or previous medical conditions that may affect the candidate''s ability to safely perform the duties of a Royal Marine or that could be exacerbated by military service. Candidates then attend a face-to-face medical assessment, during which the examiner discusses their medical history in greater detail and performs a thorough, non-intimate head-to-toe physical examination.
