MIG/TIG Welder

We are currently hiring MIG/TIG Welders to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for performing high-quality welds, using MIG and TIG techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components.Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pmRate: £15.19Type: Temp ongoingLocation: Lye, DY9Key Responsibilities:Execute precise MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials, including mild and hard steel.Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficientlyAssist in the assembly of components, ensuring proper fit and finish according to engineering drawings and specifications.Responsible for the completion of a wide range of fabrications to time to meet powder coating schedules/production requirements.Welding mild and hard steel ranging from 2.5mm to 20mm.Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements to produce components to the required standard.Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained. Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements.Requirements:Reliability and good communication skills.Able to use hand tools.Experienced MIG/TIG WelderMust be confident carrying out fillet welds on various types of steel and tube.Ability to read technical drawings although training will be provided for the right candidateIT literateAbility to troubleshootFor more information, please apply with a copy of your CV today and a ..... full job details .....
