Permanent, 4 day working week, OT available on Fridays at time and a half, growing and innovative company, modern clean working facility, free onsite parking We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy fabrication and welding department. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in the build and conversion of vehicle-related equipment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys a varied workload.We welcome applications from candidates with MIG Welding experience, who are used to working in a fast paced, heavy engineering environment. Key Responsibilities of the MIG Welder: MIG welding (essential) Fabrication and welding of chassis conversions (e.g. tipper beds) Fabrication of cage-style vehicle bodies Manufacturing and welding of trailers, storage units, and related equipment Mild steel welding for our manufacturing plant Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop Supporting general workshop operations and ad hoc tasks as required What we need from you for the MIG Welder role: Proven experience in welding and fabrication Strong MIG welding skills (essential) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings High level of accuracy and attention to detail Experience using workshop machinery (e.g. chop saws, guillotines) with a solid understanding of health and safety Ability to set up and adjust welding equipment independently Capable of working both ..... full job details .....
