Sub-contract likely to run for c.6 months maybe more, due to a heavy customer order book. If you can weld TIG too then that would also be an added advantage. Key duties include: Reading and working to technical engineering drawings Cutting / forming materials, grinding, bending using workshop machinery (e.g., press brakes, guillotines and drills) Fabricating and producing high-quality MIG welds on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium Performing MIG welding quality and dimensional checks against set specifications. Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on welding torches, gas lines, and fabrication tools. Attributes: Proven experience in a MIG fabricator welder role, using mild and stainless steel to produce bespoke builds.
