The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding mild steel components to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with the required specifications.The role will suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has good attention to detail and is able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesMIG weld mild steel components and assemblies to the required specification.Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding instructions.Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.Select appropriate welding settings, wire and gas for the materials being welded.Prepare materials prior to welding, including cutting, cleaning, grinding and ..... full job details .....
