Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 12:30

This is a well-established engineering and fabrication business specialising in structural steelwork, working on heavy-duty projects requiring high-quality welding standards.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy workshop environment. This role will involve working on structural steel components, carrying out multi-run welds on thicker materials.

• MIG welding on structural steel
• Multi-run welding on thicker gauge materials
• Butt welds and heavy fabrication work
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards
• Working to production deadlines in a fast-paced environment

About You

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder within structural steel
• Experience with multi-run welds and thicker materials
• Ability to carry out butt welds to a high standard
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Reliable and consistent work history
• Experience in similar environments (e.g. heavy fabrication / structural steel)
