The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality vertical fillet and butt welds on structural steel components, ensuring all work meets required quality standards and fabrication drawings. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on structural steel sections and assemblies. Carry out vertical fillet and butt welds to specified welding procedures and standards. Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings. Prepare materials and components prior to welding. Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Work closely with fabricators and workshop personnel to meet production targets. Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to all workshop health and safety procedures. Requirements Essential Proven experience as a MIG Welder within a structural steel fabrication environment. Ability to produce high-quality vertical fillet and butt welds .
