Interaction Engineering Welder / Fabricator Location: PE2, PeterboroughPay: £14.50 £16.00 per hour, depending on experienceJob Type: Permanent / Full-TimeSector: Engineering / ManufacturingWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment based in Peterborough (PE2).This is a great opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and welding skills who has experience working with lifting equipment, handling systems or heavy engineering products.The Role As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding components and assemblies to a high standard, working from technical drawings and ensuring all work meets required quality specifications.Your duties will include: MIG welding and fabrication Fabricating steel components and assemblies Working from engineering drawings Measuring, marking out and preparing materials Using a range of fabrication and workshop equipment Working with lifting and material-handling equipment Ensuring welds and finished products meet quality standards Carrying out inspection and finishing work Working safely and efficiently within a busy workshop environment Supporting the wider production team where required About You We''re looking for candidates with: Previous experience in welding and fabrication Good MIG welding skills Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience with structural steel or heavy fabrication is advantageous ..... full job details .....
