MIG Welder / Handyperson Maintenance Operative

Red Recruitment Group are currently seeking a MIG welder / warehouse maintenance handyperson to work within a warehouse and office environment. 

Hours of work:

08:30 – 18:00 Monday to Friday

Plus every other Saturday 08:00 – 13:00

2 weeks temporary to permanent position

Duties:

General buildings maintenance within warehouse and office environments.

Dismantling and erecting racking and shelving in the warehouse

Producing wooden inserts for racking storage in the warehouse

Changing light bulbs, and basic electrical maintenance as required

Painting and decorating office areas as and when required

Assisting in any general repairs to the site and reporting back to senior management

Minor plumbing and decorating repairs / maintenance as required.

MIG Welding and fabrication of racking and stands from Mild steel when required.

A full UK Driving licence is essential as you may be required to go to other internal depots within the company on occasion.

Rate of pay:

£28'571.40 per year basic salary (£12.21 per hour)

OTE with overtime £32'000+

Plus overtime available at time and a quarter over basic hours when permanent.

Weekly paid for the temporary to permanent period, monthly paid when permanently employed with the company
