The work can be repetitive, so this will suit someone who enjoys consistent production work and takes pride in maintaining a good standard throughout the day.What you ll be doingMIG welding and fabricating steel productsMeasuring, cutting, tacking and assembling componentsWorking from technical drawings, measurements and production jigsKeeping fabricated products square and within the required tolerancesChecking the quality and accuracy of your workMeeting daily production targets as part of a supportive teamMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentWhat we re looking forRecent, hands-on MIG welding experienceGood general fabrication knowledgeAbility to read and work from technical drawingsConfidence measuring and fabricating accuratelyExperience producing frames, gates, railings or similar products would be usefulComfortable carrying out repetitive production workReliable, quality-focused and safety-consciousYou don t need coded welding qualifications or highly complex fabrication experience.
