Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:We are looking for a MIG Welder for a permanent position based with our client in SheffieldImmediate start available (subject to interview process)Rate of pay 17.00 per hour for basic hoursThe RoleAs a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding and fabrication work to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and specifications.Duties will include:MIG welding steel components and structuresWorking from engineering drawings and welding specificationsSetting up welding equipment and selecting the appropriate settingsFabricating and assembling steelworkChecking welds and finished work to ensure quality and accuracyUsing hand and workshop toolsWorking alongside Platers and other members of the fabrication teamMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentEnsuring all work is completed to the required quality and production standardsThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience as a MIG WelderExperience within a steel fabrication environmentAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsGood knowledge of MIG welding techniquesExperience working with structural steel and fabricated componentsGood attention to detail and a strong focus on qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant welding/fabrication qualifications would be advantageous#NVQ Level in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.In the first instance, send CV''s to (url removed) or call ..... full job details .....
