Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:We are looking for a MIG Welder for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test)Rate of pay is 15.00 to 19.00 per hour (depending on experience and skillset)The RoleAs a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components and structures to the required standards and specifications.Key responsibilities include:MIG welding mild steel componentsWorking from engineering and fabrication drawingsReading and interpreting welding symbols and measurementsPreparing, fitting and welding fabricated componentsEnsuring welds meet the required quality standardsCarrying out visual inspections of completed workUsing a range of fabrication and workshop equipmentMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentWorking efficiently to meet production deadlinesThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience in a MIG Welding / Fabrication roleExperience working with mild steelAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsGood understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA reliable and hardworking approachNVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.Must hold current or previous welding coding in BS EN 287-1:2011 or BS EN ISO 9606-1In the first instance, ..... full job details .....
