MIG TIG Welder / Welding Operative

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they have had a whole company rename and restructure over the last few years, and are going from strength to strength. They are looking for an experienced MIG Welder / MIG Welding Technician to join them on a temporary to permanent basis (permanent once completing the probationary period. Location: Halifax Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 2.00pm 10.00pm Salary: Minimum of £15.96 per hour (this is inclusive of the 17.5% shift allowance). A pay rise will be put in place once you can prove the quality of your work and targets are hit (up to £19.00+ per hour). Overtime available at higher rates. NOTE: Higher rates paid for more experienced individuals (the salary will be determined following a weld test interview). You have extensive experience of MIG welding in a manufacturing / engineering environment. You also have some TIG welding experience (although this is not the main part of the job). You have a MIG / TIG Welding qualification (or are time served MIG / TIG Welder) You have experience of working with engineering drawings / CAD diagrams to follow detailed welding operations.
