MIG Site Welder

MIG Site Welder We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Site Welder to join a busy and established team working on site-based fabrication and welding projects. This role would suit a skilled welder who is confident working independently on site, reading drawings, and producing high-quality welds to the required standard. Duties will include: MIG welding on site Fabrication and installation of structural and general steelwork Welding mild steel to specification Reading and working from engineering drawings Measuring, cutting and preparing materials Using grinders and other associated fabrication tools Carrying out repairs and modifications where required Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard Following site health and safety procedures at all times Working closely with site supervisors and other trades Requirements: Previous MIG welding experience is essential Previous site welding experience preferred Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Good fabrication and measuring skills Competent using hand and power tools Relevant welding qualifications advantageous Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Full UK driving licence desirable What we offer: Competitive rates of pay Ongoing work available Regular hours with potential overtime Opportunity to work on a variety of projects Support from an experienced site team Location: Stone, Staffordshire and On site ..... full job details .....
