We’re currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Fabricator to join a busy and growing engineering business in Southampton. This is an ongoing contract opportunity with consistent hours and long-term work available for the right person.

This role will suit someone who is confident working from drawings and enjoys fabricating structural components to a high standard.

You’ll be involved in the fabrication of a range of steel structures, including:

• Fabricating frames and assemblies from box section and mild steel
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• MIG welding to a high standard
• Cutting, prepping, and assembling materials
• Working independently and as part of a skilled shop floor team

• Proven experience as a MIG Fabricator
• Strong fabrication skills with box section and structural steel
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, hard-working, and able to hit the ground running

• £22 – £26 per hour (depending on experience)
• Ongoing contract with long-term potential
