Mig and Tig Welder

GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in exclusive partnership with a leading steel structures company based in Leicestershire recruiting for two experiencedMIG and TIG Welder Fabricators to construct and assemble mild steel and stainless steel parts adhering to the set project specifications / technical drawings. Key duties include:Reading and working to technical engineering drawingsCutting / forming materials, grinding, bending using workshop machinery (e.g., press brakes, guillotines and drills)Fabricating and producing high-quality MIG and TIG welds on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminiumPerforming weld quality and dimensional checks against set specifications.Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on welding torches, gas lines, and fabrication tools. Attributes:Proven experience in a fabricator welder role, using mild and stainless steel to produce bespoke builds.Capability to work with and adjust techniques for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium works.Current or previous coded welding certifications / time served welderHigh attention to detail with the ability to use precision measuring toolsUsed to working in a workshop and happy to be workshop based.
