They are now looking for a talented Midweight Interior Designer to join their growing London team on a maternity cover contract, with the potential to extend for the right person.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic studio and take ownership of a high-end residential project, working closely with the Creative Director and wider team to bring it through to completion. It’s a hands-on position that combines design, technical delivery, and project management and is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility and loves being involved in every stage of the process.Beyond project work, the studio offers a collaborative and supportive environment where designers are encouraged to contribute ideas and get involved in wider initiatives. This is a fantastic chance for an ambitious Midweight Designer to step into a pivotal role and make a real impact.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of a live high-end residential project, managing it through to completionWork closely with the Creative Director and support the wider team across day-to-day project needsDevelop design intent documents, research materials, and prepare presentations across all aspects of designProduce clear and accurate drawing packages (AutoCAD, SketchUp, hand sketching)Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate rates, and oversee procurementCreate and manage FFandE schedules, inventories, and budgetsCoordinate sourcing trips, sample collections, and supplier meetingsPrepare detailed briefs and technical information for contractors and makersAssist in pitches, presentations, and wider studio initiatives (including events and social media when required)Ensure all documents, drawings, and schedules are updated, accurate, and organised for smooth project deliveryKey Skills/Requirements:4+ years’ experience working as a designer within the high-end residential sectorStrong technical knowledge, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, KeynoteExcellent communication skills, confident in client-facing and supplier-facing situationsStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage packages of work independentlyA keen eye for detail and passion for design, architecture, art, and furnitureComfortable hand-sketching and producing drawings to scaleProactive, resourceful, and highly organised – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesKnowledge of Smartsheets (advantageous) and strong skills in MS Word and ExcelTo apply for this position please click on the apply button to attach your CV (and portfolio for design positions).By applying for this role, you are confirming that you agree to our Privacy Policy (full details are shown at the bottom of our website), and that all details submitted by you are correct and to the best of your knowledge.The Crowd is an equal opportunities employer and agency. ..... full job details .....
