Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Midday Assistant to support a friendly and welcoming school in the Glossop area. This is a part-time role, perfect for individuals seeking reduced hours or those looking to gain valuable experience within a school setting.

The Role:
As a Midday Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
• Assisting with basic first aid where required
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children during lunchtime
• Supporting children with their meals where necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

• Enthusiastic, caring, and approachable
• Able to engage positively with children of primary school age
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
