Midday Assistant

Recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join the team in an outstanding school based in the Upminster area. For the role you will provide a safe, calm and enjoyable environment for students with various Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs during their lunchtime break and play.To start as soon as possible - Monday to Friday 2 hrs a day with additional hours being offered if and when needed - not guaranteed (Term time only)Midday Support responsibilities:Supervise and support the students during their lunchtime period and play.Encourage positive behaviour, friendships and inclusive play.Support the students with dietary requirements and eating.Happy to assist with personal care if needed.Respond to minor accidents or incidents and report concerns to an appropriate member of staff.Follow the schools safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour policies at all times.We offer:A full face-to-face interview to ascertain your skills, experience and understand the right role for youOver 300 training courses for all workersCompetitive Monthly pay with additional Holiday payOn going support from the schools and Apex team who are teachers with over 20 years school based recruitment experienceIf you are interested in this Midday Support role, please call us for a discussion or apply with your CV and a covering letter.This post is subject to a face-to-face interview, vetting checks including enhanced DBS and full compliance for working with children.We aim to ..... full job details .....
