They''re looking for a Backend Developer to take ownership of key Back End systems, working primarily in Go and AWS, and to help mentor junior engineers as the team grows.London: 1-2 days/week on-siteSalary: £80,000 - £90,000Employment type: Permanent positionRole andamp; ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain Back End services and APIs using GoTake ownership of key Back End components, from design through to deploymentWork closely with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutionsBuild and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, databases, and Back End servicesContribute to architectural decisions around performance, scalability and securityWork with AWS cloud infrastructure to deploy and maintain servicesMentor junior engineers and contribute to raising engineering standardsSkills andamp; Experience4-6 years'' professional software development experienceStrong experience with GoProven experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIsSolid experience with AWSStrong experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databasesStrong engineering background delivering projects end-to-endExperience with microservices architectureInterested, or know someone who''d be a great fit?
