Mid-Level Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot)Location: Cardiff - Hybrid (3 Days a week in office)Salary: Up to 55,000 + bonus up to 11,000We''re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join a growing technology business.You''ll join an established engineering team, developing new features and improving existing applications using Java, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects from development through to production while contributing to technical decisions and supporting junior developers.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot. Work with PostgreSQL, SQL and database migrations. Build, test and deploy features into production. Write automated tests and participate in code reviews. Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted systems. Troubleshoot issues and improve software performance, security and quality.Requirements Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot. Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL. Experience delivering software features into production. Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Desirable: AWS, React, TypeScript, Jenkins, fintech or lending experience.What''s on Offer? Salary up to 55,000 plus bonus potential up to 11,000.
