Key responsibilities of the Microsoft Support Engineer
Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft servers, clients, and infrastructure in on-premises environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft products including Skype, Exchange, and SharePoint
Support the deployment of security measures, ensuring compliance with regulations
Produce and maintain documentation while transferring knowledge to other support staff
Collaborate with support teams, resolver groups, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure ongoing success across Microsoft environments
Skills required for the Microsoft Support Engineer
Expertise in Microsoft products such as Skype for Business, Exchange, and SharePoint
Experience with Microsoft technologies including Office 365
Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills
Understanding of security and compliance best practices
