Rapier Employment seeks an MHE or VNA FLT Driver for a chemical distribution centre in Chesterfield. This full-time, temporary role offers £12.71 to £21.44 hourly, with temp-to-perm prospects. MHE OPERATORS (VNA / REACH) & WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES
We are recruiting for a busy chemical distribution centre, offering temp-to-perm opportunities for both experienced MHE Operators and unskilled Warehouse Operatives.
We are particularly interested in candidates with VNA or Reach Truck experience and valid certificates. However, applicants without MHE experience are also welcome, provided they are willing to learn and develop new skills.
Available Shift Patterns
4 on / 4 off – Days
06:00–18:00
4 on / 4 off – Nights
18:00–06:00
Monday to Friday – Permanent Nights
22:00–06:00
Monday to Friday – Rotating Shifts
06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
Pay Rates
- Warehouse Operative: £12.71 per hour
- MHE Operator (VNA / Reach): £13.13 per hour
- Additional hourly night shift bonus for eligible night shifts
- Overtime paid at 1.5 times the applicable hourly rate
- Valid VNA or Reach Truck certificate preferred.
- Previous experience operating MHE equipment.
- Responsible for moving and storing stock safely and efficiently.
- Must be willing to undertake case picking duties when required.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to learn case picking and general warehouse duties.
- Must be willing to train on VNA or Reach Truck equipment in the future.
- Reliable, motivated and keen to develop new skills.
All candidates must be willing to become multi-skilled. Experienced MHE Operators will also be required to learn case picking, while unskilled candidates must be willing to train on VNA or Reach equipment in the future.
