MHE Training Assessor / Instructor - SolihullPay Details: £19.89 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)Hours of work: Rotating shifts:AM - PM - Nights - (Mon-Thu only)Days of work:Mon-Fri (Mon-Thu for night shift)Duration:Ongoing agency workWe are recruiting experienced, qualified MHE Assessors/Instructors for our automotive manufacturing logistics client in Solihull.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and promote a strong Health and Safety culture across site operations, ensuring it remains the top priorityDeliver and support site inductions covering MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and manual handling for all permanent and agency staffAssist with Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) in collaboration with relevant stakeholdersDeliver high-quality technical training to support operational teams using a variety of methodsEnsure all training is completed, accurately recorded, and compliant with company policiesDevelop and maintain a site skills matrix to track operator competence and identify training needsMonitor and manage MHE operator numbers to reduce risk associated with inexperienced or infrequent usersMaintain operator competence through refresher training, workplace assessments, and follow-up training where unsafe practices or incidents are identifiedSupport investigations into MHE-related incidents and accidents, providing guidance and recommendationsDrive continuous improvement by identifying risks and delivering learning from experience briefings to prevent ..... full job details .....
