MHE and Warehouse

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MHE and Warehouse Safety Trainer to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Wigan. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced MHE trainer who is passionate about workplace safety, operator competence and delivering high-quality practical training. The Role As an MHE and Warehouse Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and recording effective training and assessments across a range of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and warehouse activities. You will work closely with Operations, Warehouse Management, Health and Safety and Engineering teams to ensure employees are trained to the required standard and only competent operators are authorised to use equipment. The role will involve supporting new starters, experienced operators, refresher training, conversion training and remedial training, as well as conducting workplace observations and reassessments. Key Responsibilities Deliver theory and practical MHE training to the required standard. Train and assess operators on relevant MHE categories for which you are qualified and authorised. Deliver novice, refresher, conversion and remedial training. Assess operator competence and provide clear, constructive feedback. Maintain accurate training records, certificates and competence matrices. Monitor operator performance and identify additional training requirements.
