Job Opportunity: Secondary MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher
Location: Bradford

Are you passionate about languages and dedicated to inspiring students in their learning£ The Education Network is seeking a dynamic Secondary MFL Teacher to join our talented and supportive team. If you are enthusiastic about teaching Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and want to make a lasting impact on the next generation of language learners, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality MFL lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students (with the potential to teach Key Stage 5).
- Teach one or more languages (French, Spanish, German, or another language) in a fun, engaging, and student-centered manner.
- Encourage and inspire students to develop a love for languages and an understanding of different cultures.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring inclusivity.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and track their progress, supporting them to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment with effective classroom management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Adhere to school policies, including those around safeguarding, student welfare, and health and safety.

What We’re Looking For:

- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages (or a related field) or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students in MFL.
- Strong knowledge of one or more foreign languages (French, Spanish, German, or another language).
- Experience teaching MFL at the secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Experience with innovative teaching technologies is an advantage.
