Salary: £180 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Taunton. The school has recently been taken over by an ‘Outstanding’ trust and has a strong, supportive staff community, creating a positive and collaborative working environment for both students and teachers.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated MFL Teacher on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position from September. The successful MFL Teacher will be responsible for teaching Modern Foreign Languages up to Key Stage 4, and will be expected to plan and mark work, deliver engaging lessons, and maintain high standards of classroom management.

The successful MFL Teacher will have:

• QTS with an MFL specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Experience with planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
