TeacherActive is proud to be working with a successful secondary school in South Gloucestershire that is seeking to appoint an MFL Teacher. The school has a strong reputation for providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve high standards both academically and personally, supported by a dedicated leadership team and a positive school culture.

The school is looking to appoint an MFL Teacher on a permanent 0.8 contract, working 4 days per week from September 2026. The successful MFL Teacher will be responsible for delivering French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, alongside German lessons at Key Stage 3. The MFL Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students'' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while fostering confidence, cultural awareness, and a passion for language learning.

The successful MFL Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism

• Experience teaching French up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Experience teaching German up to Key Stage 3 / KS3

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A passion for raising attainment and student achievement
