Supply Desk are excited to be recruiting on behalf of an outstanding secondary school in Chatham. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with a specialisation in French and Spanish for a full-time, long-term position starting in April 2025. This role will run at least until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role:
As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive French and Spanish lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key role in inspiring students, promoting a love of language learning, and contributing to their academic success. Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, and involvement in school activities, are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality French and Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Planning and preparing lessons that meet the diverse needs and abilities of students
• Marking, assessing, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress
• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and learning
• Following the schoolandrsquo;s curriculum, policies, and values
• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive school culture

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching French and Spanish to KS3/4
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to engage and inspire students
• Have a proven track record of raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment
• Be a committed team player with a nurturing and inclusive teaching approach
• Possess excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
• Have a current, valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
