Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Portsmouth to appoint an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This is a long-term position through to December 2025, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent post for the right candidate.
You''ll be joining a supportive and experienced MFL department, delivering engaging lessons in French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, and encouraging students to develop their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that inspire and challenge students.
Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.

Assess and track student progress, offering clear feedback and support.
Contribute to extracurricular language activities, such as clubs or trips.
