Supply Desk is currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Slough, which is seeking a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with a specialism in French and/or Spanish. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January 2026 and running through to July 2026 initially, with the potential for extension or a permanent placement.
We welcome applications from MFL specialists who are seeking flexible supply opportunities or are open to long-term roles within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
About the Role:
- Full-time teaching role: Monday to Friday
- Deliver French and/or Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the schoolandrsquo;s curriculum
- Prepare, assess, and mark work in accordance with school policies and expectations
- Support students of all abilities, fostering progress and a love for language learning
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the schoolandrsquo;s core values
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with experience teaching French and/or Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Be open to both flexible supply work and long-term placements
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and in-depth subject knowledge
- Show a clear commitment to supporting and enhancing student progress
- Adopt a positive, inclusive, and adaptable teaching approach
