As a Modern Foreign Languages teacher based in Portsmouth, I''m pleased to share this exciting opportunity for fellow MFL colleagues. A well-established secondary school in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This full-time post runs through to December, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right person. The school has a welcoming environment and a supportive MFL department, where you''ll be delivering French and/or Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether you''re an experienced teacher or just starting your career, the school is keen to hear from you.
What the Role Involves:
Teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons in French and/or Spanish
Adapting lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
Supporting students in developing language skills and cultural awareness
Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback
Getting involved with extracurricular language activities, such as clubs or overseas trips
