Teacher of MFL German | Secondary School | Blackburn, LancashireVision for Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of MFL German to join a thriving secondary school in Blackburn, Lancashire from September 2026. This Teacher of MFL German position in Blackburn, Lancashire is a temporary long-term role with no set end date and offers the opportunity to teach motivated pupils within a well-established Modern Foreign Languages department.
The school in Blackburn, Lancashire was judged to be Good at its most recent Ofsted inspection, with inspectors highlighting the positive relationships between staff and pupils, high expectations and a strong culture of inclusion.
As a Teacher of MFL German in Blackburn, Lancashire, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils to develop confidence and proficiency in German.
Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching German within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- A genuine passion for languages and education.
