Salary: -168.80 per day up to M3 Teacher pay scale per day (Paid PAYE)

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated French Specialist to join a vibrant secondary school community. This is a full-time position (5 days per week) starting immediately and running through the full academic year until July 2026. This role is perfect for a teacher who thrives on continuity and wants to make a lasting impact on their pupils'' linguistic development.

• Deliver engaging French lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan and prepare high-quality resources that cater to a range of learning abilities.

• Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.

• Maintain a positive classroom environment in line with the school''s behaviour policy.

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Specialism in French (ability to teach a second language is a bonus).

• Proven track record of managing a classroom effectively.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Stability: A guaranteed full-time contract until the end of the 2026 academic year.

• Location: Situated in the heart of Barrow and Furness, easily accessible by local transport links.
