MFL Teacher (Spanish & French) – Secondary School (KS3 & KS4)

Location: Fareham
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term cover until July 2027 (potential to go permanent)
Pay: £168 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in Spanish and French to join the school from September 2026. You will deliver engaging and high-quality language lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering confidence in communication and a love for languages. The role involves contributing to a dynamic Languages department that values collaboration, high standards, and inclusive teaching.

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish and French lessons in line with the national curriculum and the school’s values

• Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills across both languages

• Encourage cultural awareness and enthusiasm for language learning

• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as language clubs and cultural events

• Uphold the school’s ethos of respect, aspiration, and personal development

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject

• Experience teaching Spanish and French at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum expectations

• Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
