Joining a thriving and supportive languages department, the successful candidate will teach French, Spanish, German, or a combination of these languages, and will play an important role in helping pupils develop their linguistic ability, cultural understanding and confidence in communicating. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured Modern Foreign Languages lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that learning objectives are clear, appropriately challenging and aligned with departmental schemes of work.Develop students'' confidence and accuracy in speaking, listening, reading and writing by using a broad range of interactive activities, authentic resources and purposeful opportunities to communicate in the target language.Prepare lessons and learning materials that reflect the national curriculum, the school''s expectations and current GCSE specifications, enabling pupils to build the knowledge, vocabulary and examination skills needed to make strong progress.Monitor and assess students'' progress through effective questioning, classwork, homework and formal assessment, maintaining accurate records and providing ..... full job details .....
