Job DescriptionJob Title: Metrology - Manufacturing EngineerWorking Pattern: Full timeLocation: BristolAn opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer -Measurement Development to join the Rolls Royce Defence Future Programmes team in Bristol.The Global Combat Air Programme is a multinational initiative led by the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy to jointly develop a sixth-generation stealth fighter. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work at the frontline of our manufacturing technology, as we create, develop and adapt manufacturing processes that will be introduced and used for years to come to deliver the GCAP power and propulsion system. You will be responsible for developing and delivering metrology capability across a number of novel engine components. You will work closely with digital manufacturing colleagues, senior specialists, design and manufacturing engineers to lead the development and validation of automated metrology programming capability using Model Based Definitions.
