This is a hands on metrology role which is focused on accurate measurement, inspection, probing, scanning and dimensional inspection activities.Our client produces high-performance carbon fibre components for the automotive industry, including F1 teams, hypercar manufacturers, and the medical sector. You will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for inspecting composite components and assemblies to ensure they meet stringent quality and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities - What a typical day looks likeCarry out dimensional inspection of components using Romer Arms for probing and 3D scanning.Use PolyWorks to perform inspection, measurement, scanning, alignment, and dimensional analysis.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GDandT requirements to establish component conformity.Conduct accurate first-off, in-process, and final inspections as required.Use a variety of conventional and advanced metrology equipment to verify component dimensions and quality.Ensure inspection activities are completed accurately and within required production timescales.Produce clear and accurate inspection reports and maintain up-to-date inspection and quality documentation.Identify dimensional deviations and non-conformances ..... full job details .....
