Metrology Dimensional Analysis EngineerDuration: 9 Months Location: Crewe (5 days per week on site)Rate: A highly competitive rate is available for suitable candidates About the role: Delivery of Meisterbock / Cubing and whole vehicle / part dimensional analysis activities to meet the requirements set out within the Metrology Process Description and achieve the key relevant Production Emergence Plan milestonesResponsible for all activities of a designated area of the property, vehicle or parts including but not limited to, building and measurement of components, interrogation and analysis of results, defining the root cause analysis of problems and communicating conclusions. Main Responsibilities: Responsible for planning and managing project related activities on a daily basis for designated areaResponsible for reporting of status of activities in local areaWorks cross functional to deliver project requirements for the departmentAwareness of working with suppliers (internal and external) to maturate the quality status of parts and systemsUnderstanding of Measurement First PrinciplesUnderstanding of fixture / vehicle build with the ability to build up designated area to correct level as set out in the PDM, AVO or RPS systemAbility to use suitable measurement equipment to dimensionally measure, assess and create measurement reports for parts and sub systemsAbility to interrogate fitment process during building of system, property or vehicle and basic understanding of ..... full job details .....
