Meter Reader - Hertfordshire and Slough

Morson Edge are working with a leading provider of metering services within the UK energy retail sector to recruit a Meter Reader to cover the Hertfordshire and Slough areas (SL1, SL2, SL3, SL8, SL9, HP8, HP9, HP10, HP11 and HP12).This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is self-motivated and thrives in an independent role. You will play a key role within the Metering team, responsible for collecting accurate meter readings across residential and commercial properties while delivering excellent customer service on behalf of some of the UK''s leading energy suppliers.Full training is provided before moving into the field, giving you the skills and knowledge required to work confidently and independently.The Opportunity As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for visiting residential and commercial properties to collect accurate meter readings using a handheld device.You will plan your daily routes, travel between properties and accurately record meter information while ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism at every visit.This is an active outdoor role involving walking, driving and working in all weather conditions. You will need to be comfortable working independently and managing your own workload while maintaining accuracy and productivity.The role offers a 40-hour working week, with shifts available Monday to Sunday between 8:00am and 8:00pm, so flexibility to work weekends is essential.Key Responsibilities ..... full job details .....
