Metal Worker

Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week) Overtime: Occasional overtime availableThe CompanyA well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Wednesbury is seeking an experienced Metal Worker to join its growing team. This is a hands-on role working on bespoke, heavy engineering projects, producing high-quality fabricated structures and equipment for a diverse range of industries.The RoleAs a Metal Worker, you will be involved in the fabrication, assembly and finishing of heavy-duty metal components and structures, ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricating and assembling metal structures and components from engineering drawings.Cutting, shaping, drilling and preparing materials for production.Operating a range of metalworking machinery and hand tools.Carrying out grinding, finishing and fettling duties where required.Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met.Working safely and adhering to company health and safety procedures.Supporting other areas of the workshop as required.Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in a metalworking, fabrication or engineering environment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Skilled in the use of workshop machinery, hand tools and measuring equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to ..... full job details .....
