Job Title: Metal Stock ControllerLocation: Royston, UKContract Length: 6 monthsWorking Hours:Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30Friday: 08:00 - 14:30Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Metal Stock Controller to join their PGMS Supply Chain team in Royston, UK. This role involves managing metal inventory, ensuring accurate documentation of metal movements, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Metal Control Team Leader with daily management and problem resolution.Ensure accurate weighing and recording of all metal movements.Verify material purity as per commercial specifications.Conduct scheduled stock takes and document inventory movements.Monitor and run periodic physical inventories.Manage orders and deliveries of raw materials, scrap, WIP, and finished goods.Ensure timely and compliant processing of all shipments.Maintain and update inventory systems.RequirementsStrong Health and Safety awareness.Advanced user of IT systems including MS Office.Cooperative and effective communicator.Highly organized with strong planning skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Resilient and capable of managing multiple demands.Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien and SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
