Metal SorterLocation: BarnsleyPay Rate: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)Job Type: Full-timeOur client, a well-established recycling and metals business based in Barnsley, is looking to recruit an experienced Metal Sorter to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and previous experience within the scrap metal or recycling industry.Key Responsibilities: Sort ferrous and non-ferrous metals accurately.Identify different grades and types of metals.Ensure materials are processed efficiently and safely.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.Follow all health and safety procedures.Work as part of a busy yard team to meet daily operational targets. Requirements: Minimum 2 years'' experience in a metal sorting or similar recycling environment.Good knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.A commitment to health and safety standards.
