      <description>Location: Carlisle | Salary: &amp;pound;29500 - &amp;pound;29700/annum | Type: Permanent | Metal Preparation Operative    Carlisle    -29,700 + overtime    Permanent position    Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm   Adecco Workington are recruiting for a  Metal Preparation Operative  to join a well-established business in Carlisle on a  permanent basis .  This is a hands-on role working as part of a busy production team, preparing and finishing metal components to a high standard. The role would suit someone who is practical, reliable, safety-conscious and looking for a long-term opportunity with training and development available.   The role will involve:    Preparing, cleaning and deburring components  Operating machinery and equipment, with full training provided  Using tools and equipment such as drills, saws and tapping machines  Working accurately to ensure parts are completed to the required standard  Following health and safety procedures at all times  Supporting the wider team with day-to-day production duties    We are looking for someone with:    Previous experience in a hands-on, production, workshop, engineering, metalwork or warehouse environment  A good attitude and willingness to learn  Strong attention to detail  A safety-first approach  FLT licence would...</description>
