Metal Preparation OperativeCarlisle£29,700 + overtimePermanent positionMonday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm Adecco Workington are recruiting for a Metal Preparation Operative to join a well-established business in Carlisle on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role working as part of a busy production team, preparing and finishing metal components to a high standard. The role would suit someone who is practical, reliable, safety-conscious and looking for a long-term opportunity with training and development available. The role will involve: Preparing, cleaning and deburring components Operating machinery and equipment, with full training provided Using tools and equipment such as drills, saws and tapping machines Working accurately to ensure parts are completed to the required standard Following health and safety procedures at all times Supporting the wider team with day-to-day production duties We are looking for someone with: Previous experience in a hands-on, production, workshop, engineering, metalwork or warehouse environment A good attitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail A safety-first approach FLT licence would be an advantage, but is not essential Reliability and a strong work ethic What''s on offer: £29,700 + overtime Permanent position Monday to Friday hours 8.00am to 4.30pm Enhanced overtime rates 28 days'' holiday including bank holidays Pension scheme Annual bonus scheme Health benefit scheme On-site parking Employee support programme ..... full job details .....
