Metal Polisher (Stainless Steel Architectural Metalwork)Location: DunstableHours: Monday FridayHourly rate - DOEWe re recruiting for an experienced Metal Polisher to join a busy fabrication environment specialising in high-end architectural metalwork.This role will focus on polishing and finishing stainless steel components to a high visual standard, supporting bespoke projects including balustrades, handrails, and structural features.Key ResponsibilitiesPolishing and finishing stainless steel to a high cosmetic standardWorking on bespoke architectural metalwork including handrails, balustrades, and feature pieces Using handheld tools and machinery to achieve brushed finishesDressing welds and preparing fabricated components for final finishingReading drawings and working to tight tolerancesEnsuring all work meets quality standards and client specificationsSupporting fabrication teams to complete jobs from start to finishExperience RequiredProven experience polishing stainless steel in a fabrication or metalwork environmentBackground in architectural metalwork, sheet metal, or fabricationStrong experience with finishing techniques (graining, linishing, mirror polishing)Ability to work from engineering drawingsGood attention to detail and ability to deliver high-end finishesExperience dressing welds and prepping fabricated componentsDesirable ExperienceTIG welding or fabrication backgroundExperience working on bespoke or one-off projectsSite experience or installation ..... full job details .....
