Jackson Hogg is recruiting for an experienced Metal Polisher/Fettler to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in deburring, fettling, grinding, polishing, and finishing metal components to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Deburr metal components using files, scrapers, and rotary tools Remove sharp edges and prepare parts for final inspection Grind and polish components to engineering drawing requirements Use air tools and hand tools to achieve high-quality surface finishes Carry out light polishing of steel and aluminium components Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met Complete production and quality documentation accurately Work in line with quality, safety, and environmental procedures Support continuous improvement activities across the workshop What We''re Looking For Previous experience as a Metal Polisher, Fettler, Deburrer, Grinder, or Finisher Ability to read and follow work lists, instructions, and drawings Experience using hand tools, air tools, and inspection equipment Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination Able to carry out repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods Flexible to work overtime when required This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business offering ..... full job details .....
