Job Title: Metal FinisherHours - Rotational Shifts (No Nights)6am - 1:45pm Monday - Thursday and 6am - 12pm Friday 2pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday and 12pm - 5:15pm FridaySalary: £18.18 per hour Overtime paid at premium rates.We re looking for a Metal Finisher to join a high-performing aerospace manufacturing team. If you re hands-on, detail-focused, and have experience within manufacturing or chemical processing environments, this is your chance to be part of something that flies literally.What You ll DoAs a Metal Finisher you ll:Carry out finishing processes on precision aerospace componentsOperate relevant finishing equipment and machineryWork with tools such as grinders, polishers, and surface treatment equipmentUse micrometers, verniers, and height gauges to ensure top-quality outputSupport TPM and EHandS initiativesRotate across AM/PM shifts as neededWhat You ll BringStrong numeracy, literacy, and attention to detailExperience in a manufacturing and/or chemical processing environmentUnderstanding of surface finishing, treatments, or chemical processes (desirable)Knowledge of safe chemical handling and controlled environmentsFlexibility, reliability, and a drive for continuous improvementA calm, focused approach under pressureGreat teamwork and communication skillsWhy This Role?As a Metal Finisher you ll be part of a team that supports the aerospace industry with precision-engineered components.
